Derwent has nearly 200 years of experience making very good quality pencils. Inktense pencils are watercolor ink pencils suitable for many techniques. Good to use for translucent effects, washing techniques and the most beautiful flower paintings. Apply the colors neat and then wash them out with water for washed ink effects. Dries to high-impact colors and a vibrant ink when mixed with water. Excellent mixing of intense colors with the exception of the Inktense Outliner 2400, the only non-dissolvable Inktense pencil that allows you to draw indelible contours. Once dried, all Derwent Inktense pencils are indelible and can be worked with other materials or layer upon layer. Endless possibilities with beautiful results, also suitable for silk or fabrics. Derwent Inktense pencils have a soft core of 4mm to a total diameter of 8mm with the casing of California scented cedar.
