Benson Canvases

Benson Canvas canvases are ideal for large-scale use such as workshops and schools. Benson cloths are packed per 10 or 20 pieces, depending on the size. Because of the larger numbers per package and competitive price, often used in classrooms and introductory workshops. The sides are paintable, cotton is stapled on the back. 2 layers of gesso have been applied and can be painted immediately.

Cotton is a soft, single-celled fiber that grows from the epidermis of the seeds of the cotton plant (Gossypium). These fibers are spun into threads and used to make soft, breathable textiles. The cotton fiber is twined together with a rayon fiber and then woven into a piece of canvas.
